Tuesday Morning Patch Update

So welcome to our weekly Tuesday Patch Update!  Everyone can feel the tension in the air as we seem to be getting closer and closer to the big release date.  Sadly we’re all still trying to figure that one out! (COME ON GC!! Give us a little slack.)

Since I don’t see GC, Bornakk, or anyone from the Blizzard development team giving an actual release date, I guess we have to settle for knowing that the PTR Downloader has been queued up.  I’ll place my bets on having another 2 weeks at least (maybe 3-4) until the release.

Anyways, I guess we should at least bring you up to date on what’s going on over on the PTR.

Nice thing about this is that we don’t have any Hunter issues reported (well that’s “Officially Known” issues) anyways.  We’ll get to some of the “Undocumented Changes” later on. 

General

• Talent points being refunded, resulting in extra points to be spent
• If your character copy said successful, but is not showing up on the realm, you’ll need to copy it over again.
• Characters facial features appearing differently on the test server than they do on live realms.

Environment – Dragonblight

• There is a large hole in the world in the Crystal Vice of Dragonblight. (DON’T FALL IN!!)

Interface – Looking for Group

• Selecting a category other than Dungeon will put the drop-down box back to Dungeon.

NOT A BUG

• Downloader link indicates you are receiving 3.0.1.8874 PTR. 

• Mantle of Fiery Vengence - Flame Leviathan (25-Hard)
• Golden Saronite Dragon - Flame Leviathan (25-Hard)
• Gloves of Fiery Behemoth - Flame Leviathan (25)
• Mechanist’s Bindings -  Flame Leviathan (25) (Leather)

As another experiment, we are creating this thread for posting and analysis of PTR raid damage parses. If you don’t understand what that means, you probably don’t need to be posting in this thread.

I am going to be keeping a low profile in this thread. Please do not use it to ask questions or make demands. Please do not include any pre-3.1 numbers unless they are solely for comparative purposes. Please do not make definitive statements unsupported by data. Please do not derail the thread. We will try to delete off-topic responses.

So get out there and get GC his numbers gang!!  We always say they don’t care, and here is a specific request for some solid PTR Damage data.  Well what are you waiting for!?!?
