Hey Guys and Girls! (lol I always wanted to do that.) I just looked at the recent game calendar and realized that Children’s Week is rapidly approaching. (Yeah, I’m not the best at keeping up with the WoW Holidays, and barely manage to keep track of the ones in real life also.)
Anyways, with Children’s week rapidly approaching, I came up with this idea. How about we take Childrens’ week out of the game, and bring that same charity spirit into our real lives.
As many of you are aware, the Lodge decided to make Child’s Play our “Official” charity. All our events, sales, etc.. will help provide games to the children in Childrens Hospitals around the world. Hopefully, we can bring a smile and remove some of the scariness for the children and their families by helping to provide a distraction while they are getting better.
So, in that spirit, we’re going to have a week long (May 1-7, 2009) charity auction with all proceeds going directy to Child’s Play.
We’re working on getting a lot of diffent items I think you’ll be interested in having.
