I cannot tell you all enough how proud I am to be a member of this community! I mean it! We gamers get a bunch of bad press for our hobby and what we do. Many feel we waist our lives, time, and money all for the sake of grinding out a few levels.
Because of a few gamers out there, the rest of us get enough bad press to make everyone forget that we are human beings, with big hearts and disposable income!
Throughout this week you all have come out in force to support Child’s Play! And sent a message aimed directly at each and every one of those! That message being, that we DO care about the children and we’ll dig deep into our wallets, purses, and bank accounts to prove it and either provided a cash donation or an amazing bid! Not only that! Many of you have given up countless hours helping me promote this event! And for that I’m extremely grateful.
But we’re not done yet! This is our last day and we need to get all those last minute bids in so we can go over the top! By the way! In case you didn’t realize this, the Hooter’s T-Shirt that started it all? It has an autograph bounty on it by Mike Schramm of WoW Insider! He personally guarentees not only that you’ll get the lovely girls of Hooter’s Autograph, but if you wear it to BlizzCon 2009, he’ll make sure that all the staff at WoW Insider signs it also!
