An Introduction and a Couple of questions

A blog post, especially a first one, is supposed to convey information to the reader. In fact, it’s supposed to convey so much info that it knocks the socks off of the read, right? Right. Unfortunately, this isn’t one of those blog posts.

What this post is is a chance to introduce myself to you and tell you what exactly I plan on doing with this section of the blog. It also gives me a chance to thank a couple of people in advance. I’d like to thank Brigwyn for giving me this opportunity. I’m sure he’ll come to regret it (that’s a joke people, I know it’s hard to understand that in text ) and second, I’d like to thank the fans of this blog for at least giving me a chance to prove myself to them.

Now to get the meat of the potatoes of what my blog entries are about. First, my name is Lou Gagliardi. I am twenty-five years old from Pittsburgh (WOO! Go Pens!)….and I’ve never played a hunter before in WoW. I’ve always been a mage, or a paladin, or a warlock. But never a hunter. And I couldn’t figure out why this was the case.

Playing a hunter for the first time, and I’m excited to be a part of a new community within the community of world of warcraft. I just hope that I don’t become a huntard, or a noticeable noob.

So now I have a question for the fans of this guild, and I’ll ask that you either set up a forum account and post it there under “HEY LOU” or something similar, or you can email me at loug1016@gmail.com with the subject Hunter Advice, or just post in the comments part..but keep it nice, no fighting or name calling.

For the hunter class, which race makes the best hunter. And why? (Bonus: If you have a guild that would welcome me and help me on my trek—not with gold or anything but with a good, friendly community—then leave that too with the website if you have it as well as the guild name and server)

I’ll be using your answers for my first true hunter posting, as well as to bold go where this wow player has never played before.

Just a quick edit: I have gotten a guild invite via email, so thank you Dei Gratia on the Thrall-US server! Now, all I need is a good race. I’m thinking either Dwarf or Night Elf…actually, that gives me an idea for a new post.

Also, do you guys think I should give my posts a name, like what wow.com does? Maybe A View From the Scope? Or Aspect of the Noob? Give your ideas. I encourage fan participation big time!
