Hey guys!

I just wanted to give you all a heartfelt thank you for helping make this site awesome.

It’s truly because of you guys that this place is such a great place.  I know from time to time the names and faces change.  There’s that old fix it list. (Kinda like that door that you always mean to fix but never get around to it.)

But you guys have made this an awesome place.  Thanks.

Here’s what’s going on.

First, The Hunting Lodge is recognized as truly being a community.  One that cares.  Together with many of our friends around the net we were able to earn $2,500 with only 3 weeks of planning for Child’s Play Charity.

And as announced by Tiaxa on the Lodge Forums we’ve crossed the 25,000 post barrier.  Names have come and gone.  But as I’ve always have said we’ll keep a light on for you.  And many of you have done just that.  I’m sure if I went through the list of names I’d forget someone so please just understand that I consider all of you my friends.

Now for the Blog, well it’s more of a community post thing now that I’m writing for WoW.com (suppose to write more and it’s slowly happening but I get too easily distracted.)  It’s growing steadily and has achieved a strange kind of recognition in it’s own right.  That’s heartwarming also.

Working with Daewin (I think he’s a forum member also.) We’ve started this little thing called The Hunting Lodge Podcast.  Well as of today on the US iTunes Store we were ranked #19 On the Games and Hobbies Top-100 Podcast list and #11 on the Video Games Top-100 Podcast list.  Not bad for only having 7 episodes under our belt.

Where are we going?  Well I’m hoping to get The Gaming Studio off the ground and offer all of you and others a great community to talk about games other than WoW.  But that’s another story for another time.

As for The Hunting Lodge, we’re staying put as long as you guys want to call this place home.

So please accept this truly heartfelt and sincere thank you.  Thank you all for being my friend.  Thank you for all making this the most fun thing I have ever done.  Thank you for opening up and being not only the best Hunter Community, but Gaming Community I have ever had the privilege to read or know.
