The Hunting Lodge is a World of Warcraft Hunter community website. We’re here to help you improve and enjoy playing your hunter. If you don’t find what you’re looking for on the blog, make sure to check out the Hunting Lodge Forums. Also, make sure to listen to The Hunting Lodge Podcast
It seems that Saresa over at Destructive Reach has gone and proven once again that warlocks only care about themselves and don’t have any resemblance of a sense of humor.
On a previous episode of The Hunting Lodge Podcast we asked for hunters to send in a screen shot of them Misdirecting to a warlock.
Now we never said that they actually had to fire off a shot. Heck! This is something you could do in Dalaran. Target a lock. /cast misdirection capture it and send it into thlpodcast@brigwyn.com.
But NOOoo.. Now we have Sares getting her Aussie pigtails in a kink asking for people to boycott the Lodge.
Not only that! Sar is so far off her rocker that she’s also asking for locks to go out and kill hunters, even go so far as finding hunters named Brigwyn and Daewin.
Well, we’ll do one better!
Here’s our challenge for you! We’re taking this one further.
If you take a screen shot of your hunter assassinating a warlock using Misdirect and send it to thlpodcast@brigwyn.com, we’ll not only post it up here and highlight it on the next Hunting Lodge Podcast. But we’ll put you in a drawing for your very own Pandaran Monk in-game pet.
Yep, basically kill a lock for a chance at a pet. Fair trade don’t you think?
So take that Saresa! Real hunters do it wearing pants, where locks wish they could while wearing a dress.
Brigwyn is the owner/operator of The Hunting Lodge. He created The Hunting Lodge blog and Hunting Lodge Forums in response to players requesting a safe spot to talk about their class. Recently Brigwyn has started The Hunting Lodge Podcast that you can find broadcasting live on Ustream each Sunday at 11pm Eastern/8pm Pacific. Also, if you want more of Brigwyn check out his columns over on WoW.com. You can always contact Brigwyn at brigwyn@brigwyn.com.
Brig has played pretty much hunters exclusively since about the end of December 2004. In that time he’s leveled 3 hunters to max level and raided end game content. He’s currently leveling his 4th hunter from scratch and is planning to raid it when he hits max level.

Let’s face it, I look much hotter than you do in a dress. You are just jealous that you couldn’t pull one off (Dwarfs and their stubby legs
).
We’ll see who wins this, once and for all *rallies Warlocks!*
You’re on Pigtail Lock girl!
Hunters everywhere will unite and kick the overindulged butts of locks everywhere!
Besides, male Draenei hunters look absolutely righteous in robes anyways, so THERE.
NYEH.
Hunters vs locks this should be intresting
my hunter is going lock hunting in the bgs
@Dale070290
Go bag us a few dozen locks. And remember, there’s no limit on the ‘lil buggars.
Happy Hunting Dale!
Now, does the warlock have to protest this action? I bet I could convince my hubby to sacrifice his dignity for a chance to not have to buy me this pet!
@Asara –
Normally I’d sit back and say that’s between you and your husband. But in this instance?
Nah, go ahead mount him up on the wall.
*shakes head* … really, I do not know what to say here. Besides, my Warlock army is so awesome that they do not need bribes! *Marches off to kill Hunters*
@Asara nope. They can be a willing target.
I’m sensing some sexual tension between Brig and Saresa. I’d rather not get involved.
ROFL! Nah Wertez no sexual tension here.
Class tension? Maybe. But no sexual tension.
We all know I would never date a Hunter, OR a Dorf. However, I would kill one – I hear they make for interesting rugs. And I could do with a new fur coat.
Sexual tension between Brig and Saresa? I blame Syrana!
So, Novermber 23rd marks open season on Warlocks, both Alliance and Horde alike! At least you dont need a big game permit to hunt them… those poor helpless little creatures. It sure is going to make finding ‘locks for raids a whole lot harder when the entire class is afraid to come online for the next few weeks.
@Dranneb -
meh! That’s alright, who needs theire soul stealing, whininess.
STOP FIGHTING. I liked it better when people talked about earning gold and gear scores and raiding, and I could gloss it over with a mild amount of interest, but DRAMA?! I can’t ignore that. That’s hard to skim and not say anything about.
@oath
ROFL! Come on now. What drama? Just a little warlock hunting that’s all.
@Spazmoosifer, there arent going to be warlocks in raids for a while. They are now prey, and smart prey hide. I was doing dailies yesterday, killing a few mobs in Icecrown, when a Horde ‘Lock accidentally landed right next to me. Instead of sending her minion at me, I got a /hug then she mounted and flew away. Co-incidence, or fear of hunter wrath… you decide.
great post as usual .. thanks .. you just gave me a few more ideas to play with
My main is a warlock, and I find this hilarious. As a player of the original evil class of the game (don’t even try to out do us, Death Knights), I find this truely masterfully evil.
Bravo hunters, I did not think you had it in you.
