Patch 3.3 and Icecrown
Raid Progression – I know other podcasts have covered this, but since it looks like Patch 3.3 will be released this week or next I thought it would be a good idea to talk about how Blizzard is planning the raid progression.
What do you have to say?
Low Level LFGs with Higher Level toons –
- “…would make it so that Death Knights could never get the achievements.” – Magnion <Bad Company> on Anvilmar
- “I think the lockout for higher level toons has been a part of the LFG system for awhile.” … “I definitely think players should be allowed to go back through low level dungeons for achievements or power leveling but I like that there seems to be a balancing of many playstyles.” – Inachinashop
- “…I would be bummed if they made it impossible to go back and do old Instances put of my level.” – Hordespankers <Boomtown
What level and how well geared should you be to raid?
- “Hey, lately I have been wanting to do the TOC raid but am having trouble getting into it without the acheivement or they say I am not geared for it yet and I was just wondering what the min is to get in, I can clear 10/25 ony and VoA pretty easily as long as I have a competent group. “ – AramilShadow <Horsemen of the Apocolypes> on Altar of Storms
- “The guild that I’m in is a casual raiding guild with a few experienced raiders. If a guild member has epic gear ilvl 200-226 but none of is is enchanted or gemmed, would you invite her to the raid? Even without the gems and enchants her dps is pretty decent. She just doesn’t seem to take the time to ask guildies for gems and/or enchants.” – Kristyl of Turalyon
Hunter Pet Suggestions
- “1. Healing Pets in the game. 2. Beast Masters train Dragons with Dragon Master talent. 3. Spirit Beasts get a Spirit Buff.” – Bigcray on Suramar
From Twitter:
- “Should i drop Skinning for a Crafting prof? Gold is not an issue. LW/Skinning” – @44pens
